Creative Xpressions didn’t start in a fancy office or with a business plan written down on sticky notes somewhere. It was born at my kitchen table. I was a divorced mother of three, working a full-time government job, trying to make ends meet and find my footing again. Life wasn’t easy—but I had a vision. I wanted something more for my children and for myself. I wanted to create a life that didn’t rely on anyone else for financial security, especially not my former husband.
What started as a way to bring in extra income turned into something deeper—a path toward healing, freedom, and purpose.
Designing a New Future with a Computer, Printer, and Faith
Late nights became my creative sanctuary. After tucking my kids into bed, I’d stay up teaching myself new software, designing party favors, sketching signage ideas, and learning everything I could about design and crafting. Every order I received—whether it was a baby shower tag or a birthday welcome sign—was a small victory.
It wasn’t just about pretty products. It was about proving to myself that I could do this. That I was capable of creating something valuable, meaningful, and sustainable. I leaned on my faith, my creativity, and the sheer determination to build a life on my own terms.

There’s something beautiful about being part of people’s happiest moments. Whether it's a wedding, birthday, baby shower, or business launch, celebrations are sacred. They mark new beginnings, milestones, and joy. I wanted to contribute to that joy by creating personalized pieces that people could see, touch, and take home as a reminder of love and thoughtfulness.

I juggled work, kids, orders, and deliveries. There were plenty of long nights and hard lessons. But there were also breakthroughs—like my first big wedding order, my first corporate event signage job, and eventually my first repeat client who said, “You’re my go-to from now on.”
